To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, EMIL CRISAND, of the city of New Haven, in the county of New Haven .and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for an Embroidery-Pattern; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon, to-be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent a face view.
This invention relates to a design for an embroidery-pattern, with special reference to perforated board, the object being to indicate on the surface of the paper the stitches to be taken. to produce a pattern in embroidery;
and the invention consists in the motto Touch not, taste not, handle not, combined with a goblet and serpent as an emblem.
The motto is arranged in transverse lines,
with a representation of the goblet in the cenpanying illustration.
