What I claim is:

1. In typewriter" key and type-bar mechanism, a typehar, a key lever, a bell-crank actuating lever for said type-ban'an actuat- (0 ing link connecting said hell-crank lever with said key lever, a connection between said link and said hell-crank lever located at a considerable distance from the pivot return of the type-bar.
