citizen of the United States, residing at, El Reno, in the county of Canadian and State of Oklahoma, have invented certain new and useful improvements in iVindow-Shade Holders, of which the following is a specilisation, reference being had to the accompanving drawings. A

This-.invention relates to certain new and useful improvements in shade roller supports and has for its object to provide a device of this character which is of simple con-l struction, may be very quickly secured in position upon the window frame, and is ad` )ustable to various sizes of windows.

Another object is to provide a shade roller support which maybe secured in operative position without requiring the-use of nails, screws, or other analogous fastening devices.

A further object is to provide. a shade roller support consisting of two slidable bars adjustable upon each other, and a. cam locking lever foi-securing the bars in their adjusted positions, roller eraekets being longitudinally movable on each of said bars to position said bracket to receive the ends of the shade roller.

Referring to the drawing and t' indicate two slidable. bars dispose/l in the same transverse plane and adapted to be moved upon each other to increase or decrease the length of the support for attachment to' window frames of variousl widths. The outer end of each of the bars is disposed at a right angle asshown at 'i' and has its extremity inwardly bent and provided with a pluralit)1 of teeth or serrations 8 which are adapted to bite into the woodwork of the frame and secure the kf bars thereto. The inner end ofthe bar G has i integrally formed therewith an elongated rectangular sleeve portion 9. This sleeve is formed by extending the metal of the bar and bending the same inwardly from the opposite edges thereof. Upon the extremity of this neck portion laterally extending bearing lugs or trunnions "i4 are integrally formed and so proportioned that they are wider than they are thick in order to have a clamping-action.
