In a condimentshaker, the combination of a reservoir divided into tWo compartments by a partition independent of-the Walls of said'reservoir and inclosing one of the compartments, 'a perforated cover for said reservoir,- two perforated closure plates pivoted to the lower face of said cover by independent pivots, and adapted to swing 'in a plane parallelwith the lower face of said cover, actuating means for swinging said closure plates on their pivots, means for retracting said actuating means, one of said closure plates being .surrounded by the upper end of said partition, said partition having a port Jformed therein below its upv per end for chargingthe chamber inclosed by said partition` a movable'closure for said port, the perforations 1n one of sald closureI plates being adapted when the closure plate is inractuated p osition to register with some 25 of the perforatlons 1n said cover and when' said cover, said partition` being secured to said cover.
