Specification of Letters Patent.

To all whom it may concern:
Be itknown that I, ANDRE: F. Bonno'r, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city and county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and useful Clothing-Bag, of which the following is a specification.
My inventionconsists of a bag adapted as a wrapper for clothing or garments, so as to protect the same from dust, dirt, rain and exterior contact, the bag having an open side, whereby access to its interior may be had, and having its top adapted to be carried by or sustained on a hanger, from which the clothing or garment may be suspended, while within the bag. a
For the purpose of explaining the invention,'the accompanying drawing illustrates a satisfactory reduction of the same to practice, but the important instrumentalities thereof may be varied, and so it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the specific arrangement and organization shown and described. V
Figure 1 represents a perspective view of a clothing bag embodying my invention. Fig. ,2 represents a transverse section thereof, on line a2w, Fig. 1.
Similar letters of reference indicate corre-' sponding parts in the figures Referring to the drawing :A designates a bag which is formed of a piece of fabric folded on one side, as at B, producing a body with separated walls C, C, the opposite side being open, as at D, where the walls are provided with fastenings preferably of the form of snaps E, F, which when disconnected permit the bag to be opened to admitan article of clothing or a garment bc-' tween the same.
The exterior surface of the bag is of water-proof mat'erlal, so as to protect the garment from ram or moisture, whlle the garment is furthermore kept in clean'condi said hanger abutting against the inner wall of the top of the bag, so that the latter may be carried by said hook, and also if'desired placed in a closetor elsewhere, while the garment remains in the bag.
