To all whom it may concern.
Be it known that JAMES B. AUsBoUnNE, of the city and county of Milwaukee, and State of Wisconsin, have invented a new and useful Improvement in I .ifting-Jacks; and I do- -hereby declare that the foL lowing is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, whichwill enable those skilled i'u'the art to make and use the sanne, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part of this specification, in which- Figure l is a view of the jack, set ready for lifting a load, with the opelating-lever on the back side.

The object of my invention is to produce a simple machine, of great power, for lifting loads in an expe ditious manner.

A lifting-jack, consisting of fulcrum-post A, lifting- .beam B, lever C, andcheek D, when constructed to operate substantially as described.
