The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent; and making partici-the same.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, ISAAC J. MORROW, of Everton, in the county of Fayette, and State of Indiana, have inventeda new and useful Improvement in Fences; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the saule, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification.
The object of this invention. is to provide a fence for farm and other purposes, which can be easily Aand cheaply made. with portable panels, and of a durable character; and
It consists in the manner of connecting the panels with the posts, as hereinafter described.
In the accompanying plate of drawings- Figure l represents a picket-panel of the fence, attached to posts at each' end, according to my invention.
Figure 2 is a modification, showing rail-panels con.
nected with a single post, representing a joint in the fence.
Similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts.
A represents the posts of the fence.-
B represents the panels.
C represents pieces of plank or blocks, firmly attached, by nailing or otherwise, to the posts A.
D represents pins, which' project from thc upper vposts and renewed, thus allowing of a passage-way for teams, or of an opening for other purposes, in any part of the fence.

Having thus described my invention, .I claim as new, and desire' to secure by Letters Patent- In combination with the posts A and panels'B, the A pieces 0, with the pins D therein, whereby the panels are'supported, substantially as shown and described.
