I am aware that what are known corn trees andraclcs have been heretofore patented but none of them are made entirsly of metal and all of chem so far as I am aware, are unnecessarily cumbersome and. complex.
That my invention maybe more fully understood, reference is bad to the accompanying drawings, in Whichof the invontion,
Figure 1 is a side elevation of my (levies showing cars of corn attached. The length. of the device as I would cniployit would be considerably longer than shown in tho lignrc however; Fig. also shows a side ration of a section of the device; Fl top plan VlQW upon the. lino However, in this view, the wire. is L'lii) oil; and Fig. 1- iiou along one sidu of the in parlivnlarly showi' l'hs man (the impalii A a ha: i

The inipaling prongs are arranged in pairs, representing respective ends or the single wire that is coiled upon the hanger wire and are adapted to be sharpened at their ends to facilitate the penetration of the pith of the ears of corn. A scriss of such pairs ofiinpaling prongs are adapted to be arranged upon the hanger wire in as great: number as may be desired antladaptod to ho arranger upon tho hanger wire so that: the adjacent pairs of prongs will bear in a direclion at right a nglcs to each other; However, the adjacent, pairs may be arranged atany angles so long as they an. arranged so that the ears of corn may be olavcd thereon- \vitlr outv touching or interfering with each other. l ll *3l'21l; lf., I desire that the prongs shall hear urnvardly at approximatol v the angle shown; howevor, thcy nia he naalvv to hear in any angle from prrpvodiriilar hanger wire without departing from thy spirit of my invention.
