' in Tools, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to tools as used in the I have found by experience that in performingowork of this character it necessitates the carrying around of a great number of tools, arnon which are many which require and to obviate these incone object of my invention to provide a construction coin rising three of the 'most important of the a ove mentioned two of the tools will be held out f-danger of breaking while they may be quickly and easily brought into the working position. With these and other objects in view I will proceed to describe my invention,- reference being made to the accompanying drawings, in which,
Figures 1 and 2am elevations showing the positions; 3 is a central on 'tudinal. section showing the parts in veniences it ist a, representsa handle of wood or other suitable material, having a central, longitudinal bore a, open at one e' d, and a is a metal reinforcing ring supporting the threaded portion a, of said bore.
.b, is a metal bar, longitudinally slotted at b, and provided with screw threads I)", at the opposite end.
c,'is a shank pivotally mounted in the slot 1), at one end of the, bar I), by means of the pivot pin 0. i The shank c, is provided with the tools 0 and 0 one at either end, and is adapted to be'swung on the pivot c to bring either of said tools into-a workin position, and when in such a osition the ot er of said tools will engage wit 'n the slot 1), and will be held therein by means of the collard, slidably mountedon the bar I).

f, is a collar having a milled outer face f, and a threadedbore adapted to en age upon the threads bfland bind against iihe end .of the handle a, as shown, when the barb, or the tool e, is inserted within the handle,
threads b engage with the threads a", of the handle.
tHaving described my invention 1 will now describe the operation, first giving the nahave selected to combine. The tool 0 is used as a screw driver and also serves to diyide the cotterel pins so frequently classes, and the tool-c is used to extract the cotterel pins by means of its hook shaped end. The tool 6, is a universall for scraping fitting hearings a though it s a delicate tool as tools of this class run, and should, by all means, have some protection while not in use. used means collar is unscrewed and taken out, the screw driver moved on the pivot, the collard, moved to lock the pin extractor within the slot, the whole bar reversed, again SOYGWGdIH the readily be seen that l provide a simple construction wherein the operation of moving quickly and easily performed, and taking into consideration these advantages,
What I claim as new and patentahle and desire to seoure by Letters Patent, is,
1. The combination of a handle having a threaded socket, a reversible tool-holder threaded at one end and screwed partially into the socket, and a threaded collar screwed on the projecting end of the holder and against the end of the handle.
2. The combination of a handle having sum- reduced portion, and 'means to lock the I a socket, a reyersible toohholder having 2;
