The closure includes a cork or other stopper 17, adapted to enter within the mouth of the bottle, and rigidly connected thereto is a suitable handle 18 pivoted to the u per end of the plate 16 and adapted when epressed to raise the stopper out of the bottle mouth. A suitable spring 19 normally holds the stopperm ositlon.

Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent:

1. A bottle casing having a neck ortion adapted to encircle the neck of a bott e, said casing neck having a plurality ofslots extending downwardly from its open end and having the portions intermediate said slots adapted to resiliently engage with a bottle to retain the casing in engagement with the bottle, a closure support secured to said casing neck and extending upwardly therefrom, an
