Be it known that I, GEORGE F. Tnonrson,

a subject of the King of Great Britain, and

a resident of East Orange, in the county of 5 Essex and State of New Jersey, havenivented a new and Im rov'ed Water-Closet- Seat Protector, of wlnch the following is a full, clear, and exact description.

This invent-ion relates to means for protecting a. water closet seat from soiling or other contamination, and has for its object to p'rgvide novel details of construction for an appliance for a water closet seat, which afl'ords convenient means for placing and holding taut a. paper covering upon the seat, and also facilitates the substitution of a clean paper sheet for the one that has been used.

A further object is to provide a novel, easily attached appliance, that is adapted for quick and reliable imposed connection ,with a closet seat, is readily adjustable in, w

It wil be noted in the drawings, that. the position given to the paper-holding frame disposes the tubular receiver 10, at one side side of the frame having a delivery slit longitudinally therein, a paper sheet-keeper strip on the frame disposed opposite the rece ver, and means for detachably securing the rectangular frame on an apertured seat board.

3. A closet seat rotectim device embodying an attachable paper-holding frame having adjustable side members, a tubular paper roll receiver having a longitudinal slit therein for delivering a paper sheet from a paper roll in the receiver, an adjustable paper sheet kceper strip that is also a paper cutter, and is secured along an opposite side of the frame from the tubular receiver, and clamping means for detachably securing the frame on a seat board.

4. A closet seat protecting device, embodying a rectangular frame formed in two sections that are slidably connected together the frame side bars, a paper roll holder on one side of one frame sectlon, a paper sheetkee )cr strip adj tistably secured on a side bar of the other frame section opposite the paper roll holder, and two airs of clamping strips secured along the si es of the holder frame, and adapted for clamping said frame on a seat hoard.

The combination with a water closet seat board. of a rotecting means for the scat board, embo ying a rectangular frame formed of flat metal bars, said frame being adjustable in dimensions, a tubular paper roll receiver along one side of the frame and having a longitudinal slit therein, for the delivery of a paper sheet from a paper roll in of theseat board, and the keeper strip 12, at the receiver, an adjustable kec cr strip on atcd with nickel or otherwise 1 rcndcrct rust-proof, that it may be readily i delhched and replaced, as occasion may rc E quire, and that it enables the user of the watt-n closcl. to renew a paper cover l'or the scat board quickly, and thus insure asanillaving thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to pccurc by lQcttcrs latcnt: I

6. ln a closet scat protecting device, an adjustable framehaving a receiver at one side for a roll of paper, and a paper sheetkccpcr at the opposite side.

7. In a closet seat protecting device, a framel'ormcd of sections adjustably secured together, one set-rim carrying a receiver for a paper roll and the other a paper sheetkccpcr.
