.chandise is efiectuallyho sed and displayed when the cabinet is closeli cessible for a removal from the supporting -{2o means when the cabinet is opened and the supporting means is moved to the exterior of the cabinet.
Figure I is a frontperspective view of my cabinet in closed condition. Fig. II is ahori- 2 5 zontal section taken through the cabinet in .an open oondition'and showing in plan view the merchandise-supporting means withdrawn from the back of the cabinet.
.' -1 .designates the casing of my cabinet,

Patented March 5,-19o7- supported by the rods in any suitable mannor. For instance, for the support of shears or scissors I may utilize double hooks 7, that are strung on the hanger-rods and serve to receive the. ringhandles'"of. the shears and scissors for the suspension thereof. Other articles of merchand1se'such,for instance, as razorsmay be hung directly upon the hanger r'ods. i It will be seen that my construction of" merchandise-cabinet furnishes means for the attractive display of articles of merchandise and that the merchandise while on' display is readily accessible, for the reason that it is only necessary to swing the bracket-arm 4 and the hanger-rod carried thereby in an outward direction to the'exterior of the cabinet and obtain the desired article, after which the bracket-arm is returned to the interior'of. the cabinet to be housed as before. Any de. sired number of the bracket-arms and hangerrods carried thereby may be utilized in the cabinet. In the drawings, Fig. I, I have shown four' of the bracket-arms withtheir complementary hanger-rods; but this num-- ber may be readily increased or diminished. 80
The set-collar 5, bein adjustably fitted to the post to which it app 1 s and beneaththe bracket-arm swingingly mounted on said post, may be readily raised and lowered as desired, in order that the bracket-arm may 5 be'upheld at a greater or less de ree of elevation from the bottom of the caiinet accord ing to the character of'the articles of merchandise supported by the hanger-rods 6.
Iclaim 9 1. In a merchandise-cabinet, the combination of. a case, a post mounted within said case, a horizontal; bracket-arm swingmgly connected to said post, and horizontal transverse hanger rods carriedby said bracket- 5 arm and projecting from the outer side thereof, substantially as set forth.
2. A merchandise-cabinet comprising a post mounted in one corner ofthe cabinet, a horizontal bracket-arm swingingly fitted .to said post, horizontal transverse hanger-rods carried by saidbracket-arm on one side only so as to enable the bracket-arm to extend parallel with the end of the cabinet.
