The object of our invention is to produce a mold for making receptacles, such as burial- Vaults, from a plastic material, such as 'cementsconcrete,jthe construction being such that the mold may be readily adjusted so as to permit the formation of two-piece receptomes ofdifl'erent lengths and widths.
The accompanying drawings illustrate our invention.

The external mold is formed of bshaped members 10, each of which, at its corner, is )rovided witlrcne or more corner-pieces l1, termed, preferably, of anglcdron suitably bent into an t. and secured. thereto. Secured to each arm of each bracket is bar 12 extended along the adjacent arm or the L-shaped secfiion forming the mold side, the outer free ends of these bars overlapping and being connccted in ditl'erent longitudinal adjustments by suitable bolts 1.3. Adjacent arms of adjacent mold members 10 are laterally displaced slightly in opposite directions, so that they may be overlapped, as shown at X, one of the. mold-section arms lying a sufficient distance from be adjacent bar 12 to permit the oven lap ing mold-section arm to pass between it and the adjacent bar. By this means it is possible by loosening the several bolts 13 to collapse or expand the box-like mold form of the four L-sha )GCl sections without the removal or introduction of fillin members to complete the sides of the mold. The mold sides are formed, preferably, of sheet motel which isflcomperatively thin, and the lateral displacement of the overlapping sides docs are adjustably secured by bolts 31.
