A further object is in construct aburner so that it may be readily oieaned and :0 form the mouth of the burner in such a Way as to produce a fie-me of o desirsloie form.
The invention consists in izhe. construction and combinstion of ports to 22o clesoribed more fully hereinafter, and. definitely ssi forth in the claim.
Reference is to be had to the aooonipniiw ing drawings, forming a port 0? i is spcei iron, in which similar characters of refeisooef indie to correspond ng parts in oil the figures.
gore 1 is sunsts seoi ion through the burner, certain parts being broken 2m n} or shown inelevstion. F
s pisn of the tip of the burner, and lg. 3
is o frost elevation of the tip of-the burner,
Re wring more particularly to the parts, 3. rows: s the. body of the burner, which is of ulmlsr iorm and preferably construct-ed of a piece oi Wrought-iron pipe. One extremity zit-inched in any suitable of this body is manner, as by screw-threads 2, to a reducing T 3, the some having an upwardly-disposed boss 4, in which redi1oing-b11sl1i1igs 5 and ii are arranged. In the inner bushing 6 11 pipe connection 7 is attached, which includes a Vilifo 8 of nnysuitoble construction. Through the pipe connection Z the hydrocarbon or liar passes to the interior of the burner.
"Within tho interior of the body 1 I provide an inner tube 5'), which disposed oentroiiy on the axis of the ooziy has a threaded extr mity 10. which projects beyond the T 3 This ihrooded extremity passes ihrough o bushing 1i, mounted in iiie T, as {l p011 the threaded extremity 10 of file inn h 7 orovide a 5' oonneotion l2, and
