Instead of forming the burner-plate into the cap illustrated in Figs, I to IV, inclusive, the burner-plate may be Het, as illustrated in Fig. V and may be secured in n recess, d2, surrounding. the slot d in the reservointop. The advantages of this tube and burner-plate are the seme as of the one described above, the difference of construction being simply for the purpose of' adapting it to a different form of reservoir-top.
I claim as my invention- A seamless wick-tube and seamless burnerplate formed integral Wi th each other and of one piece of stamped sheet-metal, substantially as set forth. t
