' '-;".'r hou$i-: s H o L'oE AND Peass snll Beitfkn'own thatl, 'KE A MON Nrsnr- "Moro, a citizen of Japan", residing in the city and county-of San Francisco and State of I California, h ve invented new and useful I111- =-pro'vement's in Trousers-Holders and Pressers, of which theiollowing -is'as ecification.
My invention relates to I evices 'for hold press ng, and creasingtrousers.
Tia-consists of the parts a'nd the construc-.
tionfand'the combination ofqparts as hereim. 1aft'er more fully described and claimed; havi g reference to the accompanying drawings,
1 Figure 1 is a- Table size, sha e, and material. The board'A forms a base or the trousers tobe laid on, and. the'board B ishinged to the board A and is v .foldabledownxupon the trousers to grip and 4 of lever 6 connects by a spring-7 with its lepress them the. desired manner.
The hinging of the parts A B and the means for' ressingthem t'ogetherfconstitute' the main- 3.
Oneor' more leaf-s rings 2 in such fashion as to have a limited s iding movement crhsswise atures of the present invention. Tothe' top-of the movable part B are secured of the. device A lever 3 is pivoted at one 'end centrally' to each spring 2 and is. ful
crumed b. tween its ends at 4 to a part rigid to be operated on cam fashion by the curved ver 3 between fulcrum 4 and the point of connection of lever 3 with it's spring 2 on board B. Under some circumstances the sprin s 2 .may be omitted and the. lever s' 3 attac ed direct to board B, as in Fig.6. v Lever 6 is fulcrumed at its angle to a part rigid with the base A at a point below the line of sprin 7, and the several levers are so proportioned v crank or cam lever 6 will exert a double leverage on lever 3 to press the'board B down; onto board A, for it will be observed that the spring will act to pull down on lever3 on one sideof its fulcrum after the manner of a lever of the third'class, while the cam-levero boards may.

The part B is then folded down onto the 1 trousers, the cam-levers 6 and springs 7 act'- lan view of the'invention'." I "Fig. 2is-aside e ge' view of same; 3 is an end view of same in closed position, Fig. is an endview with the. parts opened out.
Fig. 5 is a detail of a removabl'e-spring-clip. Fig. 6 shows a modification of ,theinventionj- .;.A B representtwo boards of plates of suitclips- 8 9 and the biilgy part of the trousers aroundthe' pockets, and, if desired, both e longitudinally andeentrally seams-of the trousers, and thus insure the pro or pressing and-creasing along the back an 'front'of the trousers-legs.
Having thus described my invention,- what I- claim, and desire to secure by Letters Pat-I ent, is
1. A trousers-presser comprising a suitable support, a board hinged to move to and from the support and between which parts the trousers are held and pressed, means for' pressing said board upon said support, saidv means including a lever-fulcrum betweenits ends and connected at one end'to the board, and means for applyin power simultanelcrum of-said lever.
2. A trousers-presser comprising a supporting-board, aboard movable to andfrom said su portin board, a lever pivoted to said movab e boar and fulcrumed to a part rigid with the base-board, and spring means acting on said leverto press the ,two' parts together. 3. A trousers-presser comprising asupsaid supporting-board,.'a lever. pivoted to said movable board and fulcrumed to a part rigid with the base-board, and s ring means-act'- ing on the lever on both si es of its fulcrumv to press the two parts together.
4. A trousers-presser comprising 'a' base-' 10o porting-b card, a board movable to-and from I adapted to act simultaneously on said firstnamed lever to here together.
6. A trousers-presser comprising a suppress the two presser memportin -board, means en aging the opposite ends 0 the trousers to ho d the same in position on the board, a movable presser-board, transverselyextending leaf-springs carried by said movable presser-board, levers connected with said springs and fulcrurne'd between their ends, and means for applying power to said levers on both sides of their fulera to press the movable presser-board down upon the trousers.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand in presence of two subscribing wit- HBSSQS.
