Be it knou'nf that I, MARVIN T. WILLIAMS, of the city and'county of Milwaukee, `and State of Wisconsin, have invented a ewfzmd useful Improvement iu Ladders and Sca'olding; andl' do hereby declare Vthat the following is a full, elem', and exact description thereof, `which will enable those skilled in the crt to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming partof this specification, in which- Figure 1 is a perspective view of my improt'ement whenused :is a scaffold. Operation.'
