Be it known that 1, HERMANN BHRING, a citizen of Germany, residing at Hanover, Germany, have invented new and useful Improve- Vments in Christmas-Tree Candle-Holders, of
which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a candle-holder of simple construction and designed to securely mount a candle upon a Christmas-tree branch or similar support.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is an end View of my improved Christmas-tree candle-holder; Fig. 2, a side View thereof; and Figs. 3 and 4 are end views ofthe holder, showing it mounted upon a thin and a thick branch, respectively.
The holderis composed of aresilient arched band or strap a, having disconnected ends.
. These ends are each turned inward to form hooks c, that are adapted to bite into the l branch A, upon which the holder is mounted.
Centered upon the convex back of the band a is an outwardly-projecting prong, socket,
or similar device I) for securing the candle to the band.
In use the band is sprung around the branch A, so as to straddle the same and cause the hooks c to enter the wood. With thin branches HERMANN BHHING.
