Be it known that I, FREDERIK LEOHLER. of Cleveland, in the county of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Ohristniz-is-Tree Candle- Holders, of which the following is a specification.
My invention consists of a device for holding candles on Christmas-trees; and. it consists of aolainp for attaching it toa branch or limb, and having a. spring of peculiar construction, which serves to press the leaves of the clamp and also hold the candle. This device is capable of being attached to aliinh or branch in any position, either horizontal or nearly perpendicular.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective viewof my device as seen attached to a limb. Fig. 2 is aside elevation. Fig. 3 is a vertical section. Fig. 4 is a detached View of the spring and candieholder.
