i COMBINED BILER AND HOT-AIR REGISTER.

TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONGERN Be it known that I, B. B. PERKINS, of Chestertown, in the county of Kent, and State of Maryland, have invented a new and improved Combined Boiler and Hot-Air Register; and I do hereby declare the following to be a. full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specication, and in which- Figure 1 is a top view of my invention.

In this invention, a boiler connected with the register is attached to the side or end `of the hot-air lucsin houses, for the purpose of utilizing the heat conducted awa-y by the walls i the ilues, and of supplying hot water to the upper rooms of the house.
In order that others skilled in the art to which my invention appertains may beenabled to make and use the same, I will proceed to describe it in detail.
In the drawings, A A represent a hot-air flue, extending from the heating-urnnce4 to thenpper part ot' a house, and discharging its heated air into the room, through the register B. At.C, I locate a boiler, having a. spigot at D, and a lid at E, through which the boiler may be filled or emptied. I provide several apertures, e e e e, in the top of myboiler, and attach to it a movable cover, F, swinging horizontally o n o. pivot, f, and

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Potent, is-
