Be it known'thnt I, HORACE HARRIS, of Newark, in the county of Essex, nnd State of New Jersey, have invented' a new and improved Mosquito-Guard; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full and eiraict description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters 0f reference niairked thereon. p

My invention consists in making a. freme,'A, of wire, or other equivalent material, to rest on the top `of the head, and held there by the strings B B, or otherwise. A part of the frame, C, i's projeted out in front, which is bent down about tothe point of the nose. The frame and projection are covered with netting,"D, lthe prjection keeping it out ofthe face when in use. V i

I have, therefore, in this simple manner secured s. very important object, viz, perfect protection of the facel from mosquitoes, with no annoyance to 'the wearer, and with a. tritiing expense.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

The frame A, made of wire, or other equivalent material, secured to the top of the head by the strings-B B, or otherwise, and the projection in front, in combination with the netting D, substantially in the manner and for the purpose specied.
