TO ALL WHOM IT MAY OONGERN:
Be it known that-I, PHINEAS JONES, of Newark, in the county of Essex, and State of New Jersey, have invented a new and improved Holder for Reins; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full., clear, and exa-ct description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification.
The object of this invention is to provide a simple device whereby harness-reins may be securely held, and will e`ectually be prevented from slipping out of the hand. This invention will prove of especial value in winter, when the drivers'hands, either from the effects of lthe frost or by theV large gloves, are prevented from securely handling or holding the reins.
