TO ALL WHOM IT'MA Y CONCERN: I
I Be it known that I, FRANK MORTON, of Kingston, in the county of Plymouth, and State of Massachusetts, have invented a Combination Strainer and Hand-Press; and I' do hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description thereof, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon.
Nature. The nature of my invention consists'i'n the combination and arrangement of a wringing cloth with suitable handles and a sustaining frame for the purpose of conveniently pressing and straining lard, berries, cooked vegetables, &c. i

Drawings. Figure 1 is a perspective sketch, showing the strainer A and its sustaining frame B B B". Figure 2 is a plan of the sustaining t'rame B B B B'. Figure 3 is'a representation of the strainer as it appears when in use C C are two handles made of wood or of any suitable material. To use my hand-press and strainer it is placed upon the supporting frame, as shown in fig. 1. The material to be pressed is placed within the bag. Now take-hold of the handles, and removing the whole from the supporting frame, turn vigorously the two handles in opposite directions. This action'will cause a strain to be brought upon the article under operation, and will completely dry or strain it.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The arrangement and combination of the handles C C, with the strainer-cloth A, and the supporting frame B B B".
