HEATING-SUPPORT FOR CURLING-IRONS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 591,205, dated October 5, 1897.

Be it known that I, PHILIP A. BOWEN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Milwaukee, in the county of Milwaukee and State of \Visconsin, have invented new and useful Improvements in Heating-Supports for Curling- Irons, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to improvements in heating-supports for curling-irons.
The object of my invention is to provide a device for holding the curling-iron in a position to be heated bythe flame of alamp without coating the iron with soot or interfering with the combustion.
In the following description reference is had to the accompanying drawing, in which is shown the upper portion of a lamp-chiin-' ney with my invention applied thereto.
The tubular holder is formed of a single piece of spirally-coiled wire A, provided with laterallyextending loops B at each end, adapted to serve as handles, and a clownwardly-extending portion 0, adapted to engage the chimney-top.

and downward projections adapted to engage the top of a lamp-chimney, substantially for the purpose set forth.
