NITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
ASA HALLISON, OF CHARLOTTES/VILLE, INDIANA.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 54,482, dated May 8, 1866.
To all whom fit may concern:
Be it known that I, ASA H. ALLISON, of Charlottesville, in the county ofHaucoek, State of Indiana, have invented an Improved Rub ber Scrubber with a Tender attached; and I do hereby declare that the 'ollowingis a full, clear, and exact description of the construction and operation of the same, reference bcing had to the annexed drawings, making a part of this specification, in which- Figure l is an elevation With part of the tender removed to show the interior construction. The stock A, made of cast-iron or other suitable material, is made in two pieces, fitted as shown in Fig. 2. These pieces are held rmly together by the screws or bolts with screws and nuts I, clamping closely between the jaws ,Y

Having thus fully explained the construction and operation of my improvements, what I claim as my invention, and seek to secure'by Letters Patent, is-
