My invention relates to a new construction of wheeled chairs, having for its object to pre- Vent the chair tilting backward on the rear wheels and also to construct the parts and connect them in the most economical manner.

To this end my invention consists in the arrangement and combination of parts as hereinafter described and specifically pointed out in the claims.

In the drawings A A represent two rear pieces, one on each side of the chair, which pieces go to form a support for the handle a, back I) and seat 0 of the chair. These pieces A A extend downward and connect with the rear portion of two braces B B.

The chair constructed as described has its frame mainly composed of the three sets of pieces A, B, C, which are easily joined together into a strong and reliable structure. The rear stops ff protect against dangers to which push chairs of all kinds are frequently exposed.

Having described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, 1s-

1. A wheeled chair having down wardlyprojecting stops f behind the rear wheels, each of said stops being formed in one piece with a side brace B on which the front and rear wheels e and cl are directly carried, substantiallyas described and for the purpose set forth.

2. The combination of the braces B B and the stops f f formed thereon with rear supporting pieces A A leading up from the rear portions of said braces B B to the handle a and forming a proper handle support at the upper-ends and with the front supporting pieces 0 C which extend from said rear supporting pieces A A to the braces B 8, substantially as described and for thepurpose set forth.
