ADJUSTABLE WALKING-STILT.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 486,891, dated November 29, 1892. Application filed May 19, 1892. Serial No. 433,633. (No model.)
made according to the following description.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 shows aperspective view of my stilt, Fig. 2, a side elevation; Fig. 3, a longitudinal section of step when adjusted to slide on the shaft.
The step has the upper portion of the surface neXt to the shaft at an obtuse anglewith the step-pad and the lower portion ata right angle to said pad, which portion of surface is parallel to and rests against the shaft when in position for use. On the opposite side from the step-pad 0f the opening through which the shaft passes is a bar which is caused to engagein notches in the shaft when in position for use.
