I claim 1. In a one-fold folding bed, the combination of the back or standing section, the front or swinging section pivotally secured thereto and having two separate compartments and provided with a front groove w, the swinging door inclosing one of said compartments, and the sliding door inclosing the other compartment and fitted in said groove, whereby it can be slid in front of said swinging door when the latter is closed, as set forth.

2. In a folding bed, the combination of the back or standing section, the front or swinging section pivotallysecured thereto and having two separate compartments, the washbowl located in one of said compartments, the removable Waste -water tank located below said wash-bowl, the flexible connection between said wash-bowl and the upper portion of the back of said waste-water tank, and the removable clean-Water tank arranged above said wash-bowl and provided with a tap and a supply-opening in the upper portion of one side thereof, substantially as and for the purpose set forth.

3. In a folding bed, the front or swinging section having a compartment provided with a book-shelf, the front retaining-bar, and the springs connected thereto and to said shelf, whereby books are prevented from sliding out by gravity when said front section is lowered, as set forth.

4. The combination, with a folding bed, of a jointed bar adapted to hold the bedclothes firmly against the bed-frame, the ends of said bar being placed against the sides of said frame, While the bar is bent and pressed firmly against said sides by straightening the bar, as set forth.
