TONGUE-SUPPORT.
SPECIFICATION formng part of Letters Patent No. 441,363, dated November 25, 1890.
Application filed August 30, 1890. Serial No. 363,485. (No modal.)
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, CHARLES D. HARRAH, of Macon, in the county of Macon and State of Illinois, have invented certain new and useful Improvemencs in Support for Tongues, of which the following is a specification.
This invention consists in the details of construction and eombination of parts hereinafter set forth and c1aimed, the object being to take the weight 0 the horses necks.
In the drawing accompanying and forming a part of this specification, the end of a tongue is indieated by referencenumeral l. A bar 2 is bolted or otherwise secured to the tongue and projected beyond the forward and thereof. The standard 3 is secured t0 bar 2 by means of clamp 4: in a manner permitting vertical adjustment of the standard on the bar. The bifurcated drag-bar 6 pivots on pin I. D. WALKER, WILLIAM GRAHAM.
