The advantages of iny invention are at once acknowledged and appreciated by all who have had experience in. camp. Thearmy/ regulations require that all armsaud equipments shall be kept clean and bright, and in order lo aecomplish this every soldier should be furnished with something of this nature. The porlability and compact-ness of this arrangement, together with the economy inv which the material can be applied, there' being no danger of spilling the'polishingpowdcr or oil, or ol' using any superliuous quantity, make it the most convenient article'thatcanbe had for this' purpose.
