BUTTON-STRIP FOR GARMENTS.

Be 1t known that I, HENRY LYON, a eitizen of the United States, residing at Bridgeport, in the county of Fairfield and State of 1 Conneetient, have invented certain new and usefulImprovements in vl3Litton-Strips; and I do hereby declare the following` to be a full, elear, and exact description ot' the invention,

My invention relates lo eerlain improve;` ments in the eonstruetion of button-strips,

and has li'or its object to provide sueh a strip without any stilehing whatever; and with,y

these ends in view my invention eonsists in the details of eonstrl'ietion and eomljiinalion of elements, sueh as will be herona-.liter fully set forlh, and then speeilieally designated by i the elaim.

\\Ihen my improved button-strip is made in lengths, I knot the ends of the eord, in order to prevent them from being d rawn baek within the bead.

By forming the bead at the rear edge et' the strip there can be no undue straining or distortion of either the strip or the Corset, sinee said bead presents a shoulder, at the base of whieh the rear row, li, oli' stitehing extends, thus affording an exeeedinglystoul ressl'anee l to any strain on the eord,
