FIG. 1 illustrates a top view of the palm of the glove of the invention;
FIG. 2 illustrates an exploded fragmentary cross section view of the invention; and
FIG. 3 illustrates a fragmentary cross section view of the invention.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT Turning now descriptively to the drawings, in which similar reference characters denote similar elements throughout the several views, FIGS. 1-3 show a defensive glove which may be worn on a users hand for protection.
The defensive glove 10 is composed of two inner cloth layers 12 and 13, and an outer layer 14. The two inner layers 12 and 13 are sewn together by thread 15' with the heads 21 of a plurality of thumb tacks 16 mounted between layers 12 and 13. The pointed ends 17 of the thumb tacks l6 protrude through a plurality of aperatures 18 of inner layer 13, and through outer 2 layer 14. The layers of the glove are sewn together by thread 20.
Since obvious changes may be made in the specific embodiment of the invention described herein, such modifications being within the spirit and scope of the invention claimed, it is indicated that all matter contained herein is intended as illustrative and not as limiting in scope.
Having thus described hte invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by letters Patent of the United States is:
1. A, glove which may be worn for conventional purposes and for purposes of self-defense, said glove fitted with a plurality of pointed metal pieces that project from the palm side of the glove,
said glove formed of an internal and an external layer of flexible covering material joined together by fastening means, v
each said metal piece formed of a pointed shank joined to a generally flat head, the plane of which head is generally perpendicular to the axis of the shank,
each said metal piece mounted in the glove with the head located between the internal and the external layer of covering material of the palm sideof the glove, with the shank projecting through a hole in the external layer of covering material on the palm side of the glove,
said metal pieces each held in place by the hole in the external layer of flexible covering material and by the fastening means that join the internal layer and external layer of flexible covering material.
2. The combination as recited in claim 1 inwhich said fastening means comprises stitching to join the internal and external layers of flexible covering material, with similar stitching located adjacent the periphery of the head of each metal piece to hold the metal piece in place between the internal and external layers of covering material.

Claims (1)

1. A glove which may be worn for conventional purposes and for purposes of self-defense, said glove fitted with a plurality of pointed metal pieces that project from the palm side of the glove, SAID GLOVE FORMED OF AN INTERNAL AND AN EXTERNAL LAYER OF FLEXIBLE COVERING MATERIAL JOINED TOGETHER BY FASTENING MEANS, EACH SAID METAL PIECE FORMED OF A POINTED SHANK JOINED TO A GENERALLY FLAT HEAD, THE PLANE OF WHICH HEAD IS GENERALLY PERPENDICULAR TO THE AXIS OF THE SHANK, EACH SAID METAL PIECE MOUNTED IN THE GLOVE WITH THE HEAD LOCATED BETWEEN THE INTERNAL AND THE EXTERNAL LAYER OF COVERING MATERIAL OF THE PALM SIDE OF THE GLOVE, WITH THE SHANK PROJECTING THROUGH A HOLE IN THE EXTERNAL LAYER OF COVERING MATERIAL ON THE PALM SIDE OF THE GLOVE, SAID METAL PIECES EACH HELD IN PLACE BY THE HOLE IN THE EXTERNAL LAYER OF FLEXIBLE COVERING MATERIAL AND BY THE FASTENING MEANS THAT JOIN THE INTERNAL LAYER AND EXTERNAL LAYER OF FLEXIBLE COVERING MATERIAL. 2. The combination as recited in claim 1 in which said fastening means comprises stitching to join the internal and external layers of flexible covering material, with similar stitching located adjacent the periphery of the head of each metal piece to hold the metal piece in place between the internal and external layers of covering material.
