Abstract

A pressure sealing apparatus comprising a seal drum or a seal block having a hole for the passage of cloth, installed on the opening for guiding cloth in and out of a pressure chamber; rolls which are pressed through intermediate rolls on the seal drum or the seal block and are rotated in contact with each other for putting cloth in and out; and a sealing end plate which is engaged with the seal drum or the seal block to be able to move in an axial direction and which is pressed on each end face of the said drum or block and the above said rolls; and which is characterized in that the before mentioned sealing end plate is made as a metallic case, having a flexible sealing material laid on the side, which is pressed on the end face of each roll, and the flexible sealing material is uniformly pressed on the end face of the roll by a pressure liquid.

Claims

1. A pressure sealing apparatus comprising a seal drum or a seal block having a hole for passage of cloth installed on the opening for guiding cloth in and out of the seal drum or seal block; rolls spaced from the seal drum or seal block and rotated in contact with each other for putting cloth in and out; intermediate rolls pressed by said rolls on the seal drum or the seal block; and a sealing end plate which is engaged with the seal drum or the seal block to be able to move in an axial direction and which is pressed on each end face of said drum or block and said rolls and intermediate rolls; and which is characterized by that said sealing end plate is made as a metallic case, having a flexible sealing material laid on the side, which is pressed on the end face of each roll, and said sealing flexible material is uniformly pressed on the end face of the roll by a pressure liquid.
