This invention consists in making sweat leather or hands with a pocket for tickets, checks, 85c. I make a slit near the upper edge of the sweat leather or bandin such a manner that when the hat or cap is on the head the pocket extends downward. Behind this slit, and on the inside of the sweat leather or band, I attach a piece of"cloth*or other suitable maso that it forms a receptacle and support for the ticket, check, 850., when the end is passed through the slit.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim is-- Asweat'leather for bats or caps provided with a pocket for holding tickets, checks, &c., formed by a longitudinal slitin the leather at or near the upper margin of the same, and a suitable backing, substantially as hereinbefore set forth.
