In F1GS. l4 is shown a duster dress having two generally rectangular front panels 12, 14 and two generally rectangular rear panels 16, 13. The front panel 12 is joined t0 rear panel 16 by longitudinal, vertical seam 249. The freut panel 14 is j0ined t0 rear panel 18 by longitudinal vertical seam 22. At inner edge 24 of front panel 12 are spaced buttonholes 26. At inner edge 28 of freut panel 16 are spaced buttons 313 whieh engage in the lauttonholes respectively. A c0llar 32 extends ar0und the upper end 0f the garrnent. Short sleeves 33 33 are secured to arrnholes 34 34 defined by upper lateral edge portions 0f the several panels. The sleeves have upturned cufis 35.
Tl1e rear panels 16, 18 are joined by seams 37, 39 at their inner edges to a long narr0w, central strip 21. TWO narrower strips 23, 23 have free lateral edges 249, 24" extencting the full length of the back 0f the dress and are attached at inner edges to searns 37, 39.
TWO wide and deep rectangular pockets 49 4tl are secured t0 the respective fr0nt panels 12, 14 0n the 0utside thereof, intermediate their ends. TWO other Wide deep rectangular pockets 42 42 are secured t0 the rear panels 011 the outside there0f, intermediate their ends. The pockets 4tl and 42 are j0ined at tl1eir outer edges t0 seam 20. The pockets 4-tl and 42 are joined at their outer edges to seam 22. Pocl ets 42 and 42 are joined at their inner edges t0 the rear panels by seams 37, 39*. The pockets are all open at their straight upper ends and are closed and secured t0 the several panels by straight horizontal stitching 4 1 4-1". The inner edges 013 the rear pockets are concealed between the free edges 24, 24 01 strips 23*, 23 and the rear panels.
In FIGS. 5 and 6 the duster dress 111 0mits the outer lateral searns 0f the pockets 4tl' and 42'. Pockets 4tl' extends continuously fr0rn its fr0nt inner edge 59 at panel 12 ar0und the dress t0 the rear panel 16 and rear inner edge 52 terminates between strip 233 anti panel 16. Pocket 42 extends continuously fr0m its fr0nt inner edge 51 at panel 14 ar0und the dress to the panel 18 and inner Patent O ice edge 53 terminates between strip 23 and panel 18; see FIG. 6. Pockets 4Ltl and 42 are n0t attached t0 seams 21W, 221
P0ckets 4tl' and 42' are op-en at the t0p and have straight t0p edges 55 free fr0m the panels. The bott0m edges 56 are sewn by stitching 53 t0 the respective panels. The edges cf the pockets can be trimmed With edging matching 0r contrasting with that 0f the panels and 01 strips 23 23".
