Description

United States Patent ALLOY COMPOSITIONS John V. Klochkov, New York, N. Y.
No Drawing. Application July 24, 1957 Serial No. 673,760
3 Claims. (Cl. 75-175) These inventions relate to new and improved alloy compositions more particularly to alloy compositions which simulate in appearance a precious metal such as silver.
My new alloy compositions yield silver-like alloys which are valuable metallurgical compounds, and which are fully equivalent for industrial and technological purposes. Especial simulations of the precious metal silver: they can be used to replace the precious metal in dental fields, art articles and silverware industry.
The three alloys according to the invention consist of the following metals by weight:
Alloy A: Percent Tin 42.3 Nickel 21.1 Chromium 18.6 Mercury 18.0
Alloy B:
Tin 59.3 Bismuth 13.1
Patented Sept. 23, 1958 2 Cobalt 15.0 Mercury 12.6
Alloy C:
Tin 27.4 Lead 32.0 Cobalt 9.1 Chromium 16.1 Mercury 15.4 I claim:
1. An alloy consisting of the following metals by weight:
3. An alloy consisting of the following metals by weight:
Alloy C: Percent Tin 27.4 Lead 32.0 Cobalt 9.1 Chromium 16.1 Mercury 15.4
No references cited.
