A "near alpha" titanium alloy has the following percentage composition:- .Al.2.- 10 .Zr.3.- 10 .Sn.4.- 8 .Mo.0.- 10 .Si.0.1.- 2 .Cu.0.1.- 5 .Ti the remainder.. The alloy may also contain up to 3% in total of one or more of the following: - Fe, Co, Ni, Mn, V, Be, B, Nb, Sb, W, Bi.
