SPEGIFIGATION forming' part of Letters Patent No. 276,314, dated April 24, 1883,
Application filed November 9, 1882.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, MONTGOMERY H. WAT- SON, a citizen of the United States, residing at Dayton, in the county of Montgomery and State of Ohio, have invented a certain new and useful Improvement in Envelopes; and .I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, which will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, which. form a part of this specification.
My invention relates to improvements in envelopes known as the bellows envelope, used for filing legal and other papers; and it consists of like. top and bottom pieces of paper having rims or 'flaps on three sides, which are united by a textile or other suitable fabric which is glued or pasted to said flaps, thus forming an envelope whose top and bottom sides may be in contact,'and expanding with the proportions of the contents. h
The construction of the envelope is illustrated by the accompanying drawings, in whichi i I Figure lis an oblique view of the improved envelope. Fig. 2 is the form of thetop and bottom sheet or blank of the same. Fig. 3 is an enlarged transverse sectionof the same.
