SIRUP MEASURE AND FUNNEL.
SPECIFICATION formingpart of Letters Patent No. 272,924, dated February 2'7, 1883.

To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, JAMES J. VAN KERSEN, of Kalamazoo, in the county of Kalamazoo and State of Michigan, have invented certain Improvements in a Fly-Close Sirup Measure and Funnel, of which the following is a specification.

A, Fig. l, designates a common sirup-measure with a standing rim, B, found about the upper edge to hold a funnel, and the measure is also provided with a bevel-spout, 0, toward the inside.
D, Fig. 2, designates a common funnel, as cover on the improved sirup-measure, provided with a stopper, E, fastened by chain or wire,F to the funnel. Upon taking oh" the stopper E In the accompanying drawings, forming part I the funnel D and measure A are ready for use in the common way.
