1 Claim.
My invention relates to new and useful imhlch can be disassembled after use away until required further.
Yet another object of my invention is to provide a device of herewithin deand stored of reference diterent g- (Cl. 88-85) i y a further mirror permits her the sides of the cross-bar 3.
Means to adjust the mirror assembly 4 vertically with respect to the chair back l are provided and take the form of short tubes base I8. In this View, it will be seen that a pair of tubes I3 extend upwardly from the base I8 and have receivable therein a pair of rods I4' which extend downwardly from the lower side I5 of the mirror I1 being held in the desired position by means of screws I6'.
In operation,I the device is secured to the aforementioned cross-rail 3 of the chair whereupon the height of the mirror assembly li is adjusted as hereinbefore described. The operator sits upon the chair in the usual manner and adjusts the position oi mirror l1 in iront of her together with the positions of the wing mirrors 6 so that she can view the images within the main mirror assembly 5 in the mirror I1 without turning lier head.
Since various modifications can be made in my invention as hereinabove described, and many apparently widely different embodiments of same made within the spirit and scope of the claim without departing from such spirit and scope, it is intended that all matter contained in the accompanying specification shall be interpreted as illustrative only and not in a limiting sense.
What I claim as my invention is:
A device of the class described for attachment to the back of chairs and the like, and in combination with the upper transverse rail oi an associated chair, comprising in combination a substantially rectangular main mirror panel, wing mirrors hingedly secured to the vertical edges of said main panel, support means for said mirror panel, said support means including a substantially horizontal bar, a pair o clamps extending adapted t said clamp from said bar and parallel strips adapted to pass one each side of said transve rse rail, clamping means extending lower extremities o said strip and adapted to urge said strips together, ysaid supporting means also including means to vertically adjust said chair, said las of tubes ex main panel with relation to said t-mentioned means including a pair tending upwardly from said bar in spaced and parallel relationship, rods extending downwardly from said main mirror panel and adapted to engage slidably said tubes, and clamping means e Xtending through the walls oi said tubes and adapted to engage irictionally said rods.
