Figs. 5 and 6 show a modification of the present invention in which the body section 38 has oppositely extending flaps 39 and 40 foldable about interposed score lines as 4|. Said body section has foldably attached to one edge thereof, a cover section 42 which is foldable about two closely spaced parallel folding score lines 43 in" terposed between said body and cover sections. Flaps 39 and 40 have integrally formed at one end thereof a tongue 44. Said tongue is foldably attached to and separated from the upper end of said flaps by three closely spaced parallel folding score lines 45. An end flap (not shown) and side flap 40 have on the outer marginal portions thereof a coating of glue or other suitable adheslve as 46. Flaps 35, 40 and the end flap (not shown) are folded over body section 38 in the above order and held in position by the adhesive. This construction forms in conjunction with body section 38 an envelope shown generally at 41 and also provides a reinforced two-ply tongue 48 which is inserted through slots 36 in the photographic prints and tucked into the open end of envelope 4! in the same fashion as described above in reference to the single-ply tongue 3|. In all other respects the modified holder is identical with the preferred form as shown in Figs. 1 through 4.
Thus it will be seen that the invention provides an easily-constructed, easily manufactured and inexpensive holder which will hold a plurality of photographic sheets and at the same time provides means for holding the accompanying negatives. As the fastening means has no metal staples or clips there are no sharp edges to scratch either the photographic sheets or the negatives. Furthermore, the fastening means may be locked and unlocked as many times as necessary to rearrange the order of the pictures or to add to or to remove pictures.
It will thus be seen that the invention accomplishes its objects and while it has been herein disclosed by reference to the details of preferred embodiments, it is to be understood that such disclosure is intended in an illustrative, rather than a limiting sense, as it is contemplated that various modifications in the construction and arrangement of the parts will readily occur to those skilled in the art, within the spirit of the invention and the scope of the appended claims.
