HAT-HOLDER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 256,343, dated Aprilll, 1882.
Application filed February 7, 1882.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, CHARLES C. LYON, a citizen of the United States, resident of Altoona, in the county ofBlair and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and valuable Improvement in Hat-Holders; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the construction and operation of the same, reference being bad to the annexed drawings, making a part of this specification, and to the letters and figures of reference marked thereon.
Figure 1 of the drawings is a representation of perspective view of my improved hat-holder. Fig. 2 is a' face view of the same.
This invention has relation to seat hooks or supports for hats, umbrellas, and the like; and it consists of a vertical body portion, designed to be secured to the back of the seat, and forward and outward curved concave branches, forming an umbrellaholder, and laterally-divergin g horizontal ends, forming hat-supports, as will be hereinafter fully described, and pointed out in the claim.
