This invention relates to a combination billrold, memorandum pad and purse.

It is a primary object of the invention to provide an exceptionally compact and 'useful arrangement of a billfold, coin purse and memorandum pad. In achieving this objective, it is my purpose to `provide an arrangement in which the coin purse is supported in part by a iiap or partition having a height somewhat less than the length of a bill, and across the upper end of which bills may be folded, the folded bills being enclosed by a flap, for the free end ,of which the coin purse provides an anchorage.

It is a further object of the invention to provide a billfold organization in which the bills `are enclosed by an end flap and have their end portions fully exposed upon the opening of the nap. while the larger areas of the bills are still housed within the fold, thus permitting the money to be counted, or permitting a particular bill to be selected from a number [of bills, without exposing the several bills to the risk of loss which is involved if all of the bills are removed for either of these purposes.

Other important objects of the invention can best be described by referring to the disclosure of the invention in connection with the accompanying drawings.

My :billfold comprises the -usual panel member 'I Iioldable upon the vertical fold line 8. At one si-de of the fold line, there is stitched to the back panel member '1, an inner panel section 9 which is stitched to the back panel I along its top margin II), its end margin II, and its bottom margin I2. The inner margin I3 of panel section 9 is vfree to provide an opening into the interior pocket formed between the inner panel 9 and the outer panel 1. Panel 9 also provides a strap I4, behind which the tab of a memorandum pad I5 is receivable as shown in Fig. 2.

The top edge I9 and the inner side margin 2D of the partition ,panel I'I are free to al=ord access to a billfold The width of panel I'I is slightly greater than the width of the currency to be received into -such pocket, ywhile the height of the partition panel I'I is approximately three-fourths of the length of the bills. Thus, when bills 2| are placed in the pocket, they are 'disposed vertically rather than horizontally :respecting the zbillfpld, and their upper end .portions project from the pocket and are folded over the top margin I9 of the partition panel I l, as shown in Fig. 4. The back panel 'I is formed with an upwardly extending flap 23 which may, if desired, have a pocket-forming lining ply 24 to receive tickets and the like. The nap '23 is foldable over the folded ends `of the bills 2 Land the free end portion 25 of such ap may be anchored behind the coin purse presently to be described.

The coin purse is provided by the sheetor material 2S which has its inner margin 2'I connected :by stitching at 28 to the otherwise free inner -margin 20 of the partition ply I'I. Thence the sheet 26 'passes about the said margin 20 of the partition ply land across the face thereof, its bottom edge being anchored by the stitching I8 previously referred to. Near the left-hand inner endof the billfold, the sheet of material 26 is folded upon itself at '29 and 30 to form a pleat best illustrated in Figs. 4 and 5. Its end is held by the stitching 3I, which also connects the partition lpanel Il with the end I6 of the back panel 1.

Near its top, the sheet or web 26 which forms Vthe coin purse pocket is provided with a conventener element at 38 releasably eng-aged with the male element 33.

. The opening of the glove fastener 45| is a prerequisite to any' accessv to bills or coins. However; the mere opening of' ila-p 40 gives access direotly'v tothe memorandum pad only. The combination `set forth in claim 4 in which said coin purse comprises a web connected to the inner face of the partition panelv adjacent the free side edge thereof and extending about such edge rand across thev face of the partition panel, said web being' provided with means con.- necting it to a bottom portion of the partition panel and: to that side portion ofthe partition panel which is connected with thel back panel, said coin purse having a closure flap connected to said partition panel independently of said web along the Vline closer to said bottom portion of thev partition panel than is` the topr margin lof the coin purse and folded. over said coin purse to provide an anchorage pocket.
