SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 249,351, dated November 8, 1881.
Application filed August 20, 1881. (No model.)
To all whom it may concern:
Be it, known that I, FREDERICK E. HEINIG, of Louisville, Kentucky, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Tags for Tobacco, of which the following is a clear, full, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making a part of this specification, in which Figure 1 is a perspective view of my improved tag. Fig; 2 is. a view of a blank from which the tag is formed.
The object of my invention is to produce an attractive and cheap tobacco-tag which may present to the eye different colors; and it consists in folding the material used for the tag so as to present portions of each side of its dilfercut-colored faces at the same time.
To enable others skilled in the art to make and use myinvention, I will proceed to describe the tag complete. The blank A has its faces of different colors, at b, and when folded, as shown at B, both colors are displayed at the same time, The pointed ends a of thetag are bent down to form the fasteners. This makes an exceedingly attractive tag and one that can be manufactured at trifling expense.

As an improved article of manufacture, a tobacco-tag having different-colored faces and folded so as to show both colors at the same time, substantially as set forth.
