COMBINED CORNER-IRON AND GATE-LOCK FORWAGON-BODIES.

To all whom 'it may concern: v
Be it known that we, (Jens. GoMsTocK and OLIVER VANORMAN, of Racine, in the county of Racine, and in the State of Wisconsin, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Combined Corner-Irons and End-Gate Locks for Wagon-Bodies; and we do herebydeclare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof.
Our invention relates to combined devlcesfor locking the end-gates of wagon-bodies, and
will be fully described hereinafter.

Each binding-piece D is provided with an inner catch or projection, 07, for the hook on the/ad jacent end of the end-gate to catch over, and we usually cast this projection d with the binding-piece D.
It will be seen that our device is very simple and quite as effective as any in the market for the purpose, and does away with an y lockingprojections on the outside of the body.
Having thus described our invention, What we claim as our invention is- The bin ding-pieces D of the corner-irons, having catches or projections d, in combination with hooks 0, adapted to be pivoted to the end-gate ot' a wagon-body, as set forth.
