I attain these and other objects of my invention by the means illustrated in the accompanying drawing, in Which- Fig. 1 is a detailed View of a portion of the leg and foot of the garment, partly in side elevation and partly in Vertical section;
Fig. 2 is a perspective rear View of the garment as Worn by a child;
Fig. 3 is a transverse section through the footportion of the garment.
Like numerals designate like parts in each of the several Views.
The leg terminates in the foot-portion I4, to which the sole I6 is stitched, along the line I5.
2 The sole is shaped at the front by the single line of stitching I1, as shown in Figs. 3 and 6, and at the rear by the line of stitching I8, as shown in Fig. 3.
What I claim is:
In a garment of the type described terminating in foot-portions, sole strips stitched to the footportions, the sole strips having centrally disposed seams at the toe and heel to shape the garment to the foot.
