This invention relates to a holder for cosmetics, and more particularly to a lipstick container and holder formed wholly of a fibrous material, such as er, and wherein the lipstick may be propelled into position for use or repelled from operatlve position into inoperative position and in ets- 56),

In the form shown in Figure 5, the sleeve 20 is curled inwardly at thebottom edge thereof to .top edge of which lies in substantially the same horizontal plane as the bottom edge of the aperture 26. A lipstick bolder comprising a container having a body member and a. bottom closure therefor, a tubular member having its lower portion positioned in said container and provided with a substantially vertically extending slot which terminates below and in spaced relationship to the top edge of said tubular member a. sleeve sliclablv positioned in said tubular member, said sleeve having all-opening in the wall thereof, a cup for receiving one end of a lipstick disposed in said sleeve, and means disposed within said sleeve and in engagement with the bottom of said cup, said means having a tongue which passes through said opening and.- is slidably disposed in said slot.

A lipstick holder comprising a container having a. body member and a bottom closure therefor, a tubular member having its lower portion positioned in said container and provided L with a substantially vertically extending slot which terminates below and in spaced relationship to the top edge of said tubular member, a. sleeve slidably positioned in said tubular member,
said sleeve having an opening in the wall thereof,
of a lipstick disposed 1 a. cup for receiving one end in said sleeve, and means disposed within said sleeve and in engagement with the bottom of said cup, said means having a tongue which passes through said opening and is slidably disposed in said slot, said body member having a depression in the upper edge thereof to receive said tongue when said sleeve is in its atreme lower position. 3. A lipstick holder comprising a container having a body member and a bottom closure therefor, a tubular member having its lower portion positioned in said container and provided with a substantially vertically extending slot which terminates below and in spaced relationship to the top edge of said tubular member, a sleeve slidably positioned in said tubular member, said sleeve having an opening in the wall thereof, a. cup for receiving one end of a lipstick disposed in said sleeve, means disposed within said sleeve and in eng gement with the bottom of said cup, said means having a tongue which passes through said opening and is slidably disposed in said slot, and means on the interior of said tubular memher to limit the downward movement of said sleeve. A lipstick holder comprising a container havingabodymemberandabottomclosure therefor, a tubular member having its lower portion positioned in said container and provided with a substantially vertically extending slot which terminates below and in spacedrelafionshiptothetopedgeof saidtubularmembena. sleeve slidably positioned in said tubular memher, said sleeve having an opening in the wall thereof, a cup for receiving one end of a lipstick disposed in said sleeve, means disposed within said sleeve and in engagement with the bottom of said cup, said means having a tongue which passesthroughsaid opening andisslidablydisposed in said'slot, and an inverted cup in the interior of said tubular member to limit the downward movement of said sleeve.

A lipstick holder comprising a container having a body member and a bottom closure therefor, a tubular member having its lower portlon positioned in said container and. provided with a substantially vertically extending slot which terminates below and in spaced relationship to the top edge of said tubular member, a sleeve slidably positioned in said tubular member, said sleeve having an opening in the wall thereof, a. cup for receiving one end of a lipstick insaidsleeve,adiscdisposed within said sleeve and secured to said cup, said disc having a tongue which passes through said opening and is slidably disposed in said slot, and means on the interior of said tubular member to limit the downward movement of said sleeve. 7. A lipstick holder comprising a container having a body member and a bottom closure therefor, a tubular member having its lower portion positimed in said container and provided with a. vertically extending slot which terminates below and in spaced relationshiptothetopedgeofsaidtublflarmembena sleeve slidably positioned in said tubular member,
said sleeve having an opening in the well thereof,acupforrecdvingoneend ofalips'tick disposedin saidsleevemeansdisposedwithinsaid sleeve and in t with the bottom of said cup, said means having a tonguewhich passes through said opening and is slidably disposed in said slot, said tongue having anotch on each side thereof which cooperate with said slot,
means adjacent to the bottom of said sleeve and cooperating withthe meansinpositiomand interior pf said tubular member to limit the downward movement of said sleeve.

A lipstick holder comprising a container having-s body member and a bottom closure therefor, a tubular member having its lower porflon positioned in said container and provided with a fially vertically extending slot which terminates below and in spaced relationship to the top edge of said tubular member, a
sleeve slidabk positioned in said tubular mem ber, said sleeve having anlopening in the wall thereof, a cup for receiving one end of a lipstick in said sleeve, the top edge of said cup terminating below and in spaced relationship to the top edge of said sleeve, means disposed within saidsleeve and in engagement with the bottom of said cup, said'means having "a tonguewhich passes through said opening and is slidably disposed in said slot, means adjacent to the bottom of said sleeve and cooperating with the bottom of said cup to maintain the tongue-carrying means in position, and means on the interior of 1 said tubular member to limit the downward movemeat of said sleeve.
