Abstract
Description
- This application claims priority from German National Patent Application No. 10 2019 102 337.8, filed Jan. 30, 2019, entitled “Faserführungseinsatz für ein Aulösewalzengehäuse”, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.
- The invention relates to a fibre guide insert for an opening roller housing, with an insert body which can be pushed into a mounting opening of the opening roller housing, which insert body has a fibre guide surface forming a fibre channel inlet as well as a fibre channel connection section which can be connected to a fibre channel input. Furthermore, the invention relates to an opening roller housing for an opening device of an open-end rotor spinning device, having a fibre channel leading into an opening roller housing interior, where it adjoins a fibre channel input for fibres, as well as a mounting opening for a fibre guide insert, which mounting opening is open towards the opening roller housing interior.
- To prepare the spinning of fibrous material into yarns, open-end spinning devices open a fibre band into individual fibres by means of an opening roller device. The fibres are opened by an opening roller which, due to a peripheral surface with toothing, for example, opens the fibre band presented to it by combing it out into individual fibres. This opening process takes place in the opening roller housing, in which the opening roller is rotatably arranged. The fibre band is fed to the opening roller by a feeding device via a feed opening of the opening roller housing.
- When viewed in the peripheral direction of the rotating opening roller, the opening roller housing has a discharge opening after a dirt separation opening downstream of the feed opening, through which dirt such as dust, neps, husk residues or the like are removed, through which discharge opening the separated fibres are guided out of the opening roller housing. These then pass through a fibre channel adjoining the discharge opening into the spinning rotor, where the fibres are spun.
- In open-end spinning devices, the embodiment of the fibre channel, in particular of the entry area of the fibre channels arranged in the opening roller housing, is of decisive importance for the quality of the spun yarn and the spinning stability. The fibres separated by the opening roller are transported via the fibre channel to the spinning rotor, where they are collected in a fibre collecting channel of the spinning rotor and twisted into a yarn when they are pulled out of the fibre collecting channel. By virtue of different configurations of the fibre channel with regard to the cross-sectional shapes, the surface design and in particular the configuration of the technologically particularly important entry area of the fibre channels arranged in the area of the peripheral surface of the opening roller housing interior, it is possible to adapt to different materials to be spun, e.g. for coarse yarn, fine yarn or synthetics.
- According to German Patent Publication DE 10 2010 044 181 A1, the opening roller housing is provided with a mounting opening projecting into the fibre channel, into which a fibre channel insert with a fibre channel body can be inserted, which contains a partial area of the fibre channel in addition to a fibre guide surface. The fibre channel body of the fibre channel insert, extends with its main axis essentially transversely to a main axis of the fibre channel, parallel to an opening roller axis in a correspondingly aligned mounting opening of the opening roller housing. A fibre channel body running transversely to the main axis of the fibre channel has the disadvantage that, due to its design, the fibre channel body has an inlet area with a suitable fibre guide surface which is only limited in the peripheral direction. In addition, the embodiment of the fibre channel insert with a partial area of the adjoining fibre channel causes inaccuracies in the transition area between the fibre channel insert and the fibre channel, which lead to flow losses.
- On this basis, the problem addressed by the present invention is that of providing a fibre guide insert for an opening roller housing, which provides a suitable fibre channel inlet area in a simple way according to the fibres to be processed. In addition, an opening roller housing is to be provided, of which the fibre guide surface adjoining the fibre channel can be easily adapted to the specific application.
- The invention solves the problem by a fibre guide insert for an opening roller housing having the features set forth herein and by an opening roller housing having the features set forth herein. Advantageous further developments of the fibre guide insert are stated in the dependent claims.
- It is characteristic of the fibre guide insert according to the present invention that the fibre channel connection section is formed on an end face of the insert body and the fibre guide surface running in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the insert body adjoins the fibre channel connection section.
- According to the present invention, there is provision for the fibre channel insert to have an insert body that can be connected to a fibre channel via a fibre channel connection section. The fibre channel connection section is formed on an end face of the insert body, which extends essentially transversely to the longitudinal axis direction of the insert body. The longitudinal axis is the axis of the insert body that corresponds to the direction of its greatest expanse. The end faces are the sides at the ends of the longitudinal expanse. The longitudinal axis can preferably correspond to the push-in direction of the insert body into a mounting opening of an opening roller housing. However, a push-in direction transverse to the longitudinal axis is also conceivable. When inserted into the mounting opening of the opening roller housing, the end face of the insert body rests against a corresponding end face of the fibre channel connection section, so that the fibre guide surface configured on the insert body forms the inlet area of the fibre channel. The fibre guide surface on the insert body adjoins the fibre channel connection section, so that when the fibre guide insert is mounted, the fibre guide surface is flush with an inner surface of the fibre channel, which means that the fibres aligned by the fibre guide surface enter the fibre charnel in a trouble-free manner.
- The use of the fibre guide insert according, to the present invention thus makes it possible to provide an application-specific optimum fibre channel inlet area with a correspondingly configured fibre guide surface for any fibre channel. When the insert body is mounted to the opening roller housing, the fibre channel connection section of the fibre guide insert rests against a fibre channel input, an end face of the fibre channel, in such a way that the fibres aligned by the fibre guide surface enter the fibre channel in the predetermined manner.
- The use of the mounting opening for the fibre guide insert, which extends in the flow direction of the fibre channel in a tangential direction to an opening roller axis, enables the fibre channel inlet area, viewed in the peripheral direction, to be defined at, a considerable distance in front of the fibre channel by the fibre guide surface, which extends in the longitudinal axis direction of the insert body, or to be adapted to changing application conditions. The fibre guide surface can be designed in a simple way in its length—viewed in the peripheral direction of the inner wall of the opening roller housing—and in its width according to the requirements. It is also possible for the fibre guide surface to be configured curved, so that a trough-shaped fibre guide surface can be provided.
- The fibre channel connection section can generally be aligned in relation to the fibre guide surface in any way, in which case this is essentially adapted to the fibre channel input of a fibre channel to be connected in order to achieve a flush connection of the fibre guide surface to the inner wall of the fibre channel. According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the present invention, however, there is provision for the fibre channel connection section to run chiefly perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the insert body. This embodiment of the fibre guide insert ensures particularly reliable and flush contact of the insert body of the fibre guide insert against the fibre channel input if the fibre channel input has a corresponding embodiment, in which case it can be ensured in a simple way that a trouble-free transition of the aligned fibres into the fibre channel takes place. In addition, a correspondingly designed insert body of the fibre guide insert can be manufactured particularly simply and cost-effectively.
- According to an alternative configuration, the fibre channel connection section runs at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the insert body. This means that the end surface of the insert body does not run perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis, but has an angle of inclination relative to the perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. In this way, the insert body can be secured against twisting without additional means.
- The insert body of the fibre guide insert can in principle be arranged in the mounting opening in any manner, in which case according to one alignment of the insert body in the mounting opening relative to the fibre channel input, the insert body should be locked in the set position for trouble-free operation, in which case the fibre guide insert can for this purpose have locking means formed on the insert body.
- According to a further embodiment of the present invention, there is provision for the insert body to have a guide element on its peripheral surface which can be brought into engagement with a guide element mount of the mounting opening. Aligning the insert body in the mounting opening by a guide element and a guide element mount ensures accurate arrangement of the insert body of the fibre guide insert opposite the fibre channel input in a particularly reliable way. An incorrect alignment can thus be prevented in a particularly reliable way. In particular, an embodiment of the guide element mount and guide element such that the insert body of the fibre guide insert can be pushed into the mounting opening in only one position relative to the mounting opening reliably prevents an incorrect arrangement caused by incorrect operation.
- The embodiment of the guide elements as well as the correspondingly configured guide element mounts can in principle be freely selected. According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the present invention, however, there is provision for the guide element to be formed by a projection, a groove and/or a flattening which extends in the longitudinal axis direction of the insert body. A projection, a groove or a flattening extending in the longitudinal axis direction of the insert body can be formed on the insert body in a particularly simple and cost-effective manner. A corresponding embodiment of the mounting opening with a guide element mount configured on a projection, a groove or a flattening can also be implemented particularly simply and cost-effectively. Malfunctions due to an incorrect arrangement of the fibre guide insert in the mounting opening are thus particularly reliably avoided. In addition, displacement of the insert body when mounted is effectively prevented.
- In order to secure the position of the insert body in the mounting opening, there is provision according to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the present invention for the fibre guide insert to have fastening means for fixing the insert body in the mounting opening. The use of fastening means, which can be formed on the insert body, ensures particularly reliable and trouble-free operation of an opening device of an open-end spinning device equipped with a corresponding opening roller housing. The preferred arrangement of fastening means on the insert body makes it possible to dispense with separate fastening means for fixing the insert, body in the mounting opening, which additionally increases operational reliability and handling capability.
- The embodiments of the fastening means for fixing the insert body can basically be arbitrary. It is conceivable, for example, for locking elements to be arranged on the insert body in the mounted state of the fibre guide insert, which locking elements can be brought into engagement with corresponding holding bodies on the opening roller housing. According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, however, there is provision for the fastening means to be formed by a magnetic element arranged on the insert body. The use of a magnetic element allows, on the one hand, particularly convenient fixing of the fibre guide insert in the mounting opening and, at the same time, the fibre guide insert can be replaced easily and without tools if required. The magnetic elements can be arranged anywhere on the insert body and ensure that the insert body is secured in position reliably.
- The fibre guide insert according to the present invention makes it possible to adapt the opening roller housing in the inlet area of the fibres to the specific application.
- In order to simplify the selection of the fibre guide insert for the operator or to prevent an incorrect selection, there is provision according to a further development of the present invention for the insert body to have a colour coding adapted to the properties of the fibre guide surface. Colour coding, which can be achieved, for example, by full-surface colouring of the insert body or by only partial application of a colour marking, allows the user to select a suitable fibre guide insert for the intended area of application in a simple and convenient manner. An incorrect selection of the fibre guide insert is prevented particularly reliably by a colour coding provided according to this further development.
- The insert body can basically be made of any material. Aluminium, steel or die-cast material is particularly suitable. According to a further particularly advantageous embodiment of the present invention, however, there is provision for the insert body to be made of a plastic material. The use of a plastic material enables a fibre guide insert to be manufactured in a particularly simple and cost-effective manner.
- A characteristic feature of the opening roller housing according to the present invention for an opening device of an open-end rotor spinning device is that the longitudinal axis of the mounting opening or the longitudinal axis of an insert body pushed into the mounting opening runs parallel to the tangent of an opening roller arranged in the opening roller housing interior and the mounting opening is configured in such a way that an insert body of a fibre guide unit that can be pushed into the mounting opening can be connected to the fibre channel input with a fibre channel connection section arranged on the insert body on the end face, in which case the insert body can be pushed into the mounting opening via an outer opening of the opening roller housing.
- The alignment of the mounting opening according to the present invention makes it possible to adapt the fibre inlet area to an area well in front of the fibre channel input according to the materials to be processed, thus providing an efficient and simple way of adjusting to different spinning conditions. When the insert body is mounted, it is connected to the fibre channel input by its fibre channel connection section in such a way that a trouble-free transition of the fibres, which are aligned by the fibre guide surface of the insert body, into the fibre channel can take place.
- The mounting opening extends tangentially to an axis of rotation of an opening roller within the opening roller housing, so that a partial area of the inner wall of the opening roller housing is interrupted by the mounting opening. This area of the interior is formed, by the section of the insert body of the fibre guide unit which is arranged in the mounted position within the opening roller housing interior and which has, amongst other things, a fibre guide surface via which the opened fibres enter the fibre channel in a manner predetermined by the embodiment of the fibre guide surface. The possibility of exchanging the fibre guide unit thus makes it possible to adapt the opening device to the materials to be processed, in which case the insert body of the fibre guide unit can have fibre guide surfaces with different embodiments depending on the fibres. From fibre guide unit to fibre guide unit, these can vary in their length expanse in the peripheral direction, in their width across the peripheral direction and in cross section, amongst other things.
- Accessibility of the mounting openings via an outer opening on tine opening roller housing allows convenient, replacement of the insert body of the fibre guide unit, which insert body extends over the peripheral surface of the opening roller housing interior in an area well in front of the fibre channel. The insert body can thus extend over an angle range of up to 140°, preferably up to 120°, particularly preferably up to 90° over the inner surface of the opening roller housing interior. If necessary, the fibre guide unit can be adapted to the respective application by simply replacing it, i.e. pulling the insert body out of the mounting opening and then pushing in a suitable insert body.
- The outer opening of the opening roller housing is preferably configured in such a way that an insert body of a fibre guide unit can be pushed in parallel to a tangent of an opening roller arranged in the opening roller housing interior. This means that the push-in direction corresponds to the direction of the longitudinal axis of the insert body. Such a design makes it possible to make the outer opening small, which simplifies sealing. Alternatively, the outer opening can also be designed so that the insert body can be pushed in perpendicularly to its longitudinal axis. This corresponds to a push-in direction radial to an opening roller arranged in the opening roller housing interior. It is also possible that the insert body can be pushed in along an overlap of the tangential and radial directions.
- An embodiment example of the invention explained below with reference to the drawing. In the drawings:
-
FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of an opening roller housing with an insert body of a fibre guide unit arranged in a mounting opening; and -
FIG. 2 shows a cross-sectional view of the fibre guide housing fromFIG. 1 with the insert body arranged in the mounting opening. -
FIG. 1 andFIG. 2 show anopening roller housing 2 of an opening device of an open-end rotor spinning device not shown here. The openingroller housing 2 has a hollow cylindrical openingroller housing interior 13, theperipheral surface 8 of which is interrupted in sections by a mounting opening 3 extending tangentially to anopening roller axis 14. Aninsert body 4 of afibre guide insert 1 is arranged inside the mounting opening 3 in such a way that theinsert body 4 with a fibrechannel connection section 7 rests against afibre channel input 6 of afibre channel 11, which limits the mounting opening 3 in the push-in direction of theinsert body 4 into the mounting opening 3. - The arrangement of the
insert body 4 in the mounting opening 3 is such that thefibre channel input 6 and the fibrechannel connection section 7 rest against one another in such a way that an inner surface of thefibre channel 11 is flush with afibre guide surface 5 of theinsert body 4, so that the fibre produced in theopening roller housing 2 by an opening roller not shown here can enter thefibre channel 11 from the openingroller housing interior 13 in a trouble-free manner. - A
fibre guide surface 5 of theinsert body 4, which essentially perpendicularly adjoins the fibrechannel connection section 7, is adapted to the fibres to be processed and the spinning conditions, so that the fibres run into thefibre channel 11 from the openingroller housing interior 13 optimally. By means of theinsert body 4, in particular thefibre guide surface 5 of theinsert body 4, the fibre channel inlet area arranged in front of thefibre channel 11 can thus be determined specifically for the application. - The
insert body 4 of thefibre guide insert 1 is replaced via anouter opening 15 of the mounting opening 3, via which theinsert body 4 is pulled out of the mounting opening 3 and then asuitable insert body 4 is pushed back into the mounting opening 3. To fix theinsert body 4 in its position in the mounting opening 3, theinsert body 4 has abore 10, which is designed to receive afastening screw 9. In the mounted state of theinsert body 4 in the mounting opening 3 shown inFIGS. 1 and 2 , thescrew 9 extends through thebore 10 into a threaded fibre channel bore 12 of thefibre channel 11, through which stable contact of thefibre channel input 6 with the fibrechannel connection section 7 is achieved in the set position. - The
fibre guide surface 5 adjoins an area of theinsert body 4 curved according to theperipheral surface 8 at the end opposite the fibrechannel connection section 7—viewed in the peripheral direction of the openingroller housing interior 13.Different insert bodies 4, which are not shown here, vary particularly in length, width and cross section of thefibre guide surface 5. - 1 Fibre guide insert
