Abstract

The invention relates to a fiber guide insert for an opening roller housing, comprising an insert body which can be inserted into a receiving opening of the opening roller housing and has a fiber guide surface forming a fiber passage inlet and a fiber passage connection connected to the fiber passage inlet. The opening roller housing of the opening device has a fiber channel which opens into the interior of the opening roller housing and adjoins the fiber channel inlet for the fibers, and a receiving opening for a fiber guide insert which is open with respect to the interior of the opening roller housing. The fiber passage connection portion is formed on one side of the insert body and abuts the fiber passage connection portion with a fiber guide surface extending in the longitudinal axis direction of the insert body. The invention relates to a fiber guide insert for a picker roller housing, comprising an insert body which can be moved into a receiving opening of the picker roller housing and has a fiber guide surface which forms a fiber channel inlet and a fiber channel connection which can be connected to the fiber channel inlet. The invention also relates to an opening roller housing for an opening device of an open-end rotor spinning device, comprising a fiber channel which opens into an inner chamber of the opening roller housing and adjoins an inlet of the fiber channel for fibers there, and a receiving opening for a fiber guide insert which opens into the inner chamber of the opening roller housing.
Background
In order to prepare the fiber material for spinning into yarn, in the open-end rotor spinning device, the fiber sliver is opened into single fibers by means of an opening roller device. The opening of the fibers is performed by an opening roller, which opens the fiber sliver supplied thereto into single fibers by combing out, for example, because of the toothed circumferential surface. The opening process takes place in the opening roller housing, in which the opening roller is rotatably arranged. The fiber sliver is fed to the opening roller by a feeding device via a feed opening of the opening roller housing.
The opening roller housing has, as seen in the circumferential direction of the rotating opening roller, an outlet opening, which is arranged downstream of the feed opening, for discharging dirt, such as dust, nits, chaff, etc., and through which the separated fibers are conveyed out of the opening roller housing. They then enter the spinning rotor via a fibre channel adjoining the outlet opening, where the fibres are spun into a yarn.
In open-end rotor spinning devices, the design of the fiber channel, and in particular of the fiber channel entry region arranged in the opening roller housing, has important implications for the quality of the spun yarn and the stability of the spinning. The fibers separated by the opening roller are conveyed through a fiber channel to a spinning rotor, where they are collected in a fiber collecting groove of the spinning rotor and are twisted into a yarn when they are drawn out of the fiber collecting groove. By means of the different design of the fiber channel with respect to the cross-sectional shape, the surface design and, in particular, the design of the fiber channel inlet region, which is technically important, arranged in the inner chamber peripheral region of the opening roller housing, various different materials to be spun, which are suitable, for example, for rovings, spun yarns or synthetic fibers, can be produced.
DE102010044181a1 discloses that the opening roller housing is provided with a receiving opening which projects into the fiber channel and into which a fiber channel insert having a fiber channel body can be inserted, the fiber channel body comprising, in addition to the fiber guide, a partial region of the fiber channel. The fiber channel body of the fiber channel insert extends parallel to the opening roller axis in a correspondingly oriented receiving bore of the opening roller housing, with its main axis substantially parallel to the fiber channel main axis. A fiber passage body extending transversely to the main axis of the fiber passage has the disadvantage that, as a result of its design, the fiber passage body has only a limited inlet region with a suitable fiber guiding surface, viewed in the circumferential direction. In addition, the design of the fiber channel insert as a local area with adjoining fiber channels determines inaccuracies in the transition from the fiber channel insert to the fiber channel, which leads to flow losses.
Disclosure of Invention
In this respect, the invention is based on the object of providing a fiber guide insert for a picker roll housing, which in a simple manner provides a suitable fiber passage entry region depending on the fibers to be processed. Furthermore, an opening roller housing should be provided, the fiber guiding surface of which adjoining the fiber channel can be adjusted in a simple manner depending on the application.
The invention accomplishes this task by means of a fiber guide insert for an opening roller housing having the features of the first aspect of the invention and an opening roller housing having the features of the ninth aspect of the invention.
The fiber guide insert according to the invention is characterized in that the fiber channel connection is formed at one end side of the insert body, and the fiber guide surface extending in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the insert body adjoins the fiber channel connection.
According to the invention, it is provided that the fiber channel insert has an insert body which can be connected to the fiber channel via a fiber channel connection. The fiber channel connection is formed on an end side of the insert body, which end side extends substantially transversely to the longitudinal axis direction of the insert body. The insert body axis, which corresponds to the direction of its maximum extension, is referred to herein as the longitudinal axis. The end sides are the sides at both ends of the longitudinal extension. The longitudinal axis may then preferably correspond to the insertion direction of the insert body into the receiving opening roller housing. But also an insertion direction transverse to the longitudinal axis is conceivable. In the state of being mounted in the receiving bore of the opening roller housing, the insert body rests with the end face against the corresponding end face of the fiber channel connection, so that the fiber guide surface formed on the insert body forms the inlet region of the fiber channel. The fiber guide surface on the insert body now adjoins the fiber channel connection, so that in the installed state of the fiber guide insert it comes into flush contact with the inner surface of the fiber channel, so that the fibers passing through the fiber guide surface in the aligned direction can pass smoothly into the fiber channel.
The use of a fiber guide insert according to the invention therefore allows a fiber channel inlet region with a correspondingly configured fiber guide surface, which is optimal for the application, to be provided for any fiber channel. In this case, the fiber channel connection of the fiber guide insert in the state in which the insert body is mounted on the opening roller housing is in contact with the fiber channel inlet, i.e., one end side of the fiber channel, in such a way that the fibers aligned in the direction by the fiber guide surface enter the fiber channel in a predetermined manner.
In this case, the use of receiving openings extending in the flow direction of the fiber channel tangentially to the axis of the opening roller for the fiber guide insert allows the fiber channel inlet region to be fixed or adapted to changing application conditions by the fiber guide surface extending in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the insert body, viewed in the circumferential direction, at a considerable distance from the fiber channel. The fiber guide surface can be designed in a structurally simple manner in terms of its length and its width viewed in the circumferential direction of the inner wall of the opening roller housing. It is also possible to form the fiber guiding surface in a curved manner, so that a groove-like fiber guiding surface can be provided.
The alignment of the fibre channel connection with the fibre guide surface can in principle take place in any way, wherein the fibre channel connection is substantially adapted to the fibre channel inlet of the fibre channel to be connected in order to obtain a flush abutment of the fibre guide surface with the inner wall of the fibre channel. However, according to a very advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the fiber channel connection extends substantially perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the insert body. This design of the fiber guide insert ensures, with a corresponding design of the fiber channel inlet, a very reliable and flush mounting of the insert body of the fiber guide insert to the fiber channel inlet, as a result of which a smooth transition of the aligned fibers into the fiber channel can be ensured in a simple manner. Furthermore, the insert bodies of the fiber guide insert, which are designed to be compatible with one another, can be produced in a simple and inexpensive manner.
According to an alternative embodiment, the fibre channel connection extends obliquely with respect to the longitudinal axis of the insert body. That is, the end face of the insert body does not extend perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, but at an oblique angle relative to the vertical of the longitudinal axis. In this way, the anti-rotation of the insert body can be achieved without additional measures.
The insertion body of the fiber guide insert can in principle be placed in the receiving bore in any way, wherein after the alignment of the insertion body in the receiving bore with respect to the fiber channel inlet, a locking of the insertion body in the position set for smooth operation should take place, wherein the fiber guide insert can have a locking mechanism formed on the insertion body for this purpose.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the insert body has a guide on its circumferential surface which can be brought into engagement with the guide groove of the receiving bore. The orientation of the insert body in the receiving bore by the guide and the guide receptacle ensures very reliably an exact fitting positioning of the insert body of the fiber guide insert relative to the fiber passage inlet. Thereby mis-orientation can be prevented in a very reliable manner. In particular, the guide receptacle and the guide are designed such that the insert body of the fiber guide insert can be inserted into the receiving opening only in one position relative to the receiving opening, reliably preventing incorrect positioning as a result of incorrect operation.
In this case, the design of the guide and of the correspondingly designed guide pocket can in principle be freely selected. However, according to a very advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the guide is formed by a projection, a groove and/or a truncated portion (ableachung) which extends in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the insert body. The projections, grooves or truncations extending in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the insert body can be formed on the insert body in a very simple and inexpensive manner. The receiving opening is accordingly designed as a guide receiving opening formed on the projection, groove or truncated portion, which can also be realized very simply and inexpensively. As a result, disturbances due to incorrect positioning of the fiber guide insert in the receiving opening are very reliably avoided. In addition, displacement of the insert body in the mounted state is also effectively prevented.
In order to fix the position of the insert body in the receiving opening, it is provided according to a very advantageous embodiment of the invention that the fiber guide insert has a fastening means for fixing the insert body in the receiving opening. The use of a fastening means which may be formed on the insert body ensures in particular a reliable and smooth operation of an opening device of an open-end spinning device which is equipped with a corresponding opening roller housing. The preferred arrangement of the fastening means on the insert body then allows the omission of a separate fastening means for fixing the insert body in the receiving opening, which additionally increases the operational reliability and operability.
In principle, the design of the fastening mechanism for fixing the insert body can be arbitrary at this time. For example, it is conceivable for a locking element, which is arranged on the insert body in the mounted state of the fiber guide insert, to engage a corresponding receiving body on the opening roller housing. However, according to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the fastening means is formed by a magnet part which is arranged on the insert body. The use of the magnet elements allows, on the one hand, a very comfortable fixing of the fiber guide insert in the receiving bore and at the same time a simple tool-free replacement of the fiber guide insert as required. The magnet element can then be arranged at any desired position on the insert body and ensures a secure positional fixing of the insert body.
With the fiber guide insert according to the invention, it is possible to adjust the opening roller housing in the fiber entry region depending on the application.
In order to simplify the selection of the fiber guide insert for the operator or to prevent incorrect selections, it is provided according to a development of the invention that the insert body has a color coding adapted to the properties of the fiber guide surface. The color coding, which can be obtained, for example, by a full-scale dyeing of the insert body or by only partial arrangement of color markings, allows the user to select, in a simple and comfortable manner, a fiber guide insert suitable for the intended range of applications. The color coding predetermined according to this development prevents a wrong selection of the fiber guide insert very reliably.
The insert body can in principle be made of any material. Aluminum, steel or die-cast parts are particularly suitable. However, according to a further particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the insert body is made of a plastic material. The use of plastic material allows a very simple and inexpensive manufacture of the fibre guide insert.
The opening roller housing according to the invention for an opening device of a free-end rotor spinning device is characterized in that the longitudinal axis of the receiving bore or the longitudinal axis of the insert body inserted into the receiving bore extends parallel to the tangential direction of the opening roller arranged in the inner chamber of the opening roller housing and is designed such that the insert body according to the invention of the fiber guiding unit which can be inserted into the receiving bore can be connected to the fiber channel inlet via a fiber channel connection provided at one end side of the insert body, wherein the insert body can be inserted into the receiving bore via an outer opening of the opening roller housing.
The receiving opening orientation according to the invention allows the adjustment of the fiber entry region up to the region remote in front of the fiber channel entry depending on the material to be processed, whereby the possibility exists of a simple and efficient adjustment to various different spinning conditions. The fiber channel connection of the insert body is connected to the fiber channel inlet in this way in the installed state, so that a smooth transition of the fibers in the alignment direction through the fiber guide surfaces of the insert body into the fiber channel can be achieved.
The receiving opening extends in the opening roller housing in a tangential direction to the axis of rotation of the opening roller, so that a partial region of the inner wall of the opening roller housing is interrupted by the receiving opening. The region of the inner chamber is formed by an insert body section of the fiber guide unit which is arranged in the inner chamber of the opening roller housing in the installation position and which has, in particular, a fiber guide surface, via which the opened fibers enter the fiber channel in a manner predetermined by the design of the fiber guide surface. The possibility of replacing the fiber guiding unit, the insert body of which may have fiber guiding surfaces of different designs depending on the fibers, thus allows the opening device to be adapted to the material to be processed. They may differ from one another between the fibre guide units, in particular with regard to their extent in the circumferential direction, their width transversely to the circumferential direction and their cross section.
The accessibility of the outer opening in the opening roller housing to the receiving opening allows a comfortable replacement of the insert body of the fiber guide unit, which extends over the circumference of the inner chamber of the opening roller housing in the region up to the front of the fiber passage. The insert body can therefore extend over an angle of up to 140 °, preferably up to 120 °, particularly preferably up to 90 °, over the inner surface of the inner chamber of the opening roller housing. The fibre guide unit can be adapted to the current application purpose by simple replacement, i.e. pulling out the insert body from the receiving hole and subsequently inserting a suitable insert body, as required.
The outer opening of the opening roller housing is preferably designed such that the insert body of the fiber guide unit can be inserted parallel to the tangential direction of the opening roller arranged in the inner chamber of the opening roller housing. That is, the insertion direction corresponds to the longitudinal axis direction of the insert body. Such a design allows for the design of a small outer opening, thereby simplifying the sealing. Alternatively, the outer opening can also be designed such that the insert body can be inserted perpendicular to its longitudinal axis. This corresponds to the insertion direction in the radial direction of the opening roller arranged in the inner chamber of the opening roller housing. It is also possible that the insert body can be inserted with an overlap in tangential and radial direction.

Fig. 1 and 2 show an opening roller housing 2 of an opening device, not shown here, of an open-end rotor spinning device. The opening roller housing 2 has a hollow cylindrical opening roller housing interior 13, the circumferential surface 8 of which is partially interrupted by a receiving bore 3 extending tangentially to the opening roller axis 14. The insert body 4 of the fiber guide insert 1 is arranged in the receiving bore 3 in such a way that the insert body 4 rests with the fiber channel connection 7 against the fiber channel inlet 6 of the fiber channel 11, which delimits the receiving bore 3 in the insertion direction of the insert body 4 into the receiving bore 3.
The insert body 4 is now arranged in the receiving bore 3 in such a way that the fiber channel inlet 6 and the fiber channel connection 7 adjoin one another in such a way that the inner surface of the fiber channel 11 adjoins the fiber guide surface 5 of the insert body 4 in a flush-surface manner, so that the fibers produced in the opening roller housing 2 by an opening roller, not shown here, can pass smoothly from the opening roller housing interior 13 into the fiber channel 11.
The fiber guide surface 5 of the insert body 4, which adjoins the fiber channel connection 7 essentially vertically, is adapted to the fibers to be processed and the spinning conditions, so that an optimum entry of the fibers from the internal chamber 13 of the opening roller housing into the fiber channel 11 is achieved. The fiber channel inlet region arranged upstream of the fiber channel 11 can thus be fixed in a manner that is specific to the use by the insert body 4, in particular by the fiber guide surface 5 of the insert body 4.
The replacement of the insert body 4 of the fiber guide insert 1 takes place through the outer opening 15 of the receiving bore 3, by means of which the insert body 4 is pulled out of the receiving bore 3, after which a suitable insert body 4 is inserted again into the receiving bore 3. In order to fix the insert body 4 in its position in the receiving bore 3, the insert body 4 has a bore 10 which is designed to receive a fastening screw 9. In the state shown in fig. 1 and 2, in which the insert body 4 is mounted in the receiving bore 3, the screw 9 extends through the bore 10 into a threaded fibre passage bore 12 of the fibre passage 11, whereby a stable seating of the fibre passage inlet 6 on the fibre passage connection 7 in the set position is obtained.
The fiber guide surface 5 in this case adjoins a section of the insert body 4 that is curved in accordance with the circumferential surface 8 at the end opposite the fiber passage connection 7, as seen in the circumferential direction of the opening roller housing interior 13. The different insert bodies 4, which are not shown here, vary in particular in length, width and cross section of the fiber guiding surface 5.
