  • the insert profile comprises a set-back portion on the side that faces the inner side of the at least one furniture front.
  • This set-back portion makes it possible to grip behind the furniture front arranged in front of said portion, without the insert profile blocking the entry region.
  • the set-back portion can be formed as a bevel that extends away from the inner side of the furniture front. In this way, the user's finger would be guided into the handle region when gripping behind the furniture front.
  • the set-back portion can form an angle ( ⁇ ) in particular with the inner side of the furniture front that is preferably approximately 45°, other angles also being possible.
  • a curved transition region can be provided between the base and a lateral portion of the profiled element.
  • angular transition regions may also be provided.
  • the insert profile interlockingly rests against the profiled element, at least in portions.
  • the positive fit it is easier to mount the insert profile in the profiled element and a secure hold, for example by means of bonding, is also ensured by means of positive-fit surfaces.
  • the power supply to the lighting device can be guided very easily out of the insert profile, through a through-opening in the rear wall, and into the carcass of the piece of furniture.
  • the insert profile is preferably a hollow profile that surrounds a receiving space, at least in part.
  • a lighting device can be housed in this receiving space, this can be an LED tape, for example; other lighting means are, of course, also conceivable depending on the size of the receiving space.
  • the insert profile can comprise an opening that is sealed by a sealing element, at least parts of which are in particular transparent.
  • the opening is used to introduce the lighting device, and said opening can also be used as an emission opening for the lighting device when parts of the sealing element are transparent.
  • other parts of the insert profile may also be transparent.
  • a reflector portion for reflecting light emitted by the lighting device can be provided in particular on the sealing element. In this way, the emission pattern, which is sometimes rather punctiform, of the lighting device can be homogenized into the receiving space.
  • a transparent emission portion can preferably also be provided in particular on the sealing element and is designed to emit the light emitted by the lighting device out of the insert profile.

It can therefore be arranged in the region of two adjoining narrow sides of furniture fronts or in the region of the narrow side of one furniture front and an adjoining worktop or sidewall of the piece of case furniture. The position of the insert profile can then also be correspondingly selected in accordance with the position of said profiled element.
  • the insert profile comprising the lighting device can also be concealed by the profiled element according to the invention behind the furniture front such that it is not visible from the outside.
  • the side of the insert profile that faces the center of the profiled element can in particular be set back with respect to the narrow side of the furniture front that is closest to the insert profile.
  • the size of the set-back can be a few millimeters.

  • the profiled element 3 is C-shaped or U-shaped, comprising a base portion and two limb portions that are adjacent thereto.

  • An insert profile 5 is inserted into the profiled element on the inner side, which, in the example shown, interlockingly rests against the transition region 31 and the limb 32 on the inner side of the profiled element.
  • the side of the insert profile 5 that is at the bottom in the drawing is set back slightly with respect to the narrow side of the front 1 by a distance d.
  • the front 1 conceals the insert profile 5 such that it is not visible to the person looking at said cabinet from the front.
  • the insert profile 5 is shown in slightly more detail. It comprises a receiving space 56 , in which a lighting device (not shown in more detail here) can be housed.
  • An LED strip is preferably inserted into the region above the bevels 54 .
  • a lighting device can be introduced through the opening in the insert profile 5 that is formed between points 57 and 58 .
  • the opening is sealed by a sealing element 51 .
  • This sealing element 51 can be transparent, for example, such that any light in the receiving space 56 generated by the lighting device is emitted outwards by the sealing elements 51 and into the recessed handle 4 , in the region of the profiled element 3 ( FIG. 1 ).
  • the sealing element 51 is preferably clamped between the projections 57 and 58 of the insert profile in the form of a snapfit.
  • the sealing element can comprise corresponding receptacles or recesses, into which the projections 57 , 58 can latch.
  • the projection 57 is provided at the free end of a rounded portion 53 of the insert profile 5 . This portion 53 extends towards the portion 55 .
  • the portions 53 and 55 are preferably formed on the outside of the insert profile such that they can be interlockingly positioned against the portions 31 and 32 ( FIG. 2 ) of the profiled element on the inside thereof.
  • a reflector element 52 is provided on the inner side of the insert profile 5 so as to rest against the portions 53 and 55 , and is preferably integrally formed with the sealing element 51 in the example shown. Of course, it can also separately rest against the inner wall of the insert profile 5 or be formed together therewith.
  • the reflector element 52 reflects the light generated by the lighting device and reflects it at least in the direction of the transparent sealing element 51 such that the light reflected in this way is shone into the recessed handle of the profiled element.
  • the projection 58 which holds the sealing element 51 , is provided at the end of a set-back portion 54 that extends at an angle.
  • This portion comprises a bevel on its outer side, which forms an angle a together with the rear side of the furniture front 1 (see FIG. 2 ); shown in FIG. 3 by the dashed line S.
  • a gripping space is formed between the furniture front S and the insert profile 5 in the region of this angular cut-out, into which space the user's fingers can reach when grasping the furniture front, i.e. reaching into the recessed handle.
  • the furniture front 1 can therefore be moved by gripping behind its lower side, in order to open a storage space provided behind the front 1 or make it accessible, for example.
  • the insert profile according to the invention in the profiled element to the upper side, as shown in this case, but alternatively or in addition to the opposite side, i.e. to the limb of the profiled element 3 that is opposite the limb 31 , 32 .
  • the insert profile 5 is preferably bonded to the profiled element 3 .
  • Other fastening possibilities such as screwing or latching, are likewise conceivable.
